When thinking about service or volunteering projects, many religious organizations come to mind. We at the SAIU value giving back to the community just as much as any other organization, and we try and do our part.
Current Service Projects
Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard
Every month, volunteers from the SAIU help this local food pantry by deep-cleaning the floors, windows, and coolers.
Pages to Prisoners
For this service project, volunteers receive book request lists from prisoners and attempt to find the books and then package them to be sent off.
