Various local church and religious groups are coming together at Dunn Meadow to welcome returning and new students to campus.  Although SAIU is not a ‘religious’ group per se, we certainly concern ourselves with religious, spirituality and philosophy quite a bit, and we also consider ourselves an alternative to religious communities for students and staff who can’t quite otherwise make that leap of faith.  Leaving home and high school and coming to college is a time when many students are exploring and questioning the philosophies, beliefs, religions and world-views they grew up with, so we hope that open-minded students will come talk to members of SAIU at our table.
