Description: Members of the Secular Alliance of IU will present the facts about evolution and intelligent design in a fun, interactive, and educational experience. All are welcome, from experts to beginners in the topic of evolution. This forum will include videos outlining arguments against evolution, a ‘creationist bingo’ game, and more!
Your group might like to know that there is an upcoming visit by Barbara Forrest, professor of philosopphy at Southeastern Louisiana University and an expert in church/state issues, who testified for the plaintiffs in the 2005 Kitzbiller v. Dover Area School District. She will be speaking at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbus, Indiana on April 26th at 10:00am. Her testimony was pivotal in influencing the judge to rule in favor of prohibiting the school board from forcing the biology teachers to teach intelligent design in all 9th grade biology classes. for more information go to: http://uucolumbusin.org/
